Welcome to MyConsult.in, an online platform that connects Clients with verified Experts and Influencers for personalized consultation across various fields. By accessing or using the platform (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to MyConsult.in website and associated services.
  • “Client” refers to a customer seeking advice or consultation from an Expert.
  • “Expert” refers to a registered professional, influencer, or specialist who provides consultation services on the Platform.
  • “Session” means a paid consultation booked by a Client.
  • “We/Us/Our” refers to MyConsult.in.

2. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally capable of entering contracts
  • Using the Platform for lawful consultation purposes

3. User Roles

3.1 Clients (Customers Seeking Consultation)

A Client is a customer seeking personalized advice from Experts. Clients can:

  • Browse categories and search Expert
  • Book consultations
  • Communicate with Experts via text, audio, or video
  • Rate and review Experts

Clients are responsible for evaluating Experts before booking and ensuring they have proper expertise and facility for sessions.

3.2 Experts

Experts provide professional advice based on their knowledge, certifications, or industry experience. Experts agree to:

  • Provide accurate identity and qualification documentation
  • Deliver consultations in a professional, ethical manner
  • Avoid misinformation, illegal advice, or medical/diagnostic opinions (unless qualified and permitted—though MyConsult.in currently excludes medical consultations)

4. Account Registration

Users must provide accurate personal information. Misuse of identities or false information may result in suspension or removal.

5. Verification Requirements

Experts must upload:

  • A government-issued ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Driving License)
  • Address proof (Aadhaar, utility bill, or equivalent)
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Certification or document validating their expertise in chosen category

MyConsult.in verifies documents solely to ensure trust and quality.

6. Consultations & Responsibilities

  • Clients book sessions on the Platform only.
  • Experts must be punctual and prepared.
  • MyConsult.in is not responsible for the accuracy or usefulness of Expert advice.
  • All communication must remain on the Platform.
  • Sharing personal contact information is discouraged for safety.

7. Payments

  • All fees must be paid in advance.
  • MyConsult.in charges a platform commission from each paid consultation.
  • Taxes apply where mandated.

8. Cancellation & Refunds

Refer to the full Refund Policy below (mirrored in this document).
Summary:

  • Clients may cancel 24 hours before session start → full refund.
  • Cancellation upto 4 hours before session start → 50% refund.
  • Cancellaion with in 4 hours before session start → No refund. Session can be rescheduled one time.
  • No refund after session begins.
  • Expert no-shows → client receives full refund.
  • Client no-shows → no refund.

9. Content Ownership

  • Clients own their submitted queries.
  • Experts own the advice they provide.
  • MyConsult.in may use anonymized, non-identifiable content for platform improvement.
  • Recording sessions without consent is prohibited.

10. Prohibited Uses

Users must NOT:

  • Harass, abuse, or misuse Experts or Clients
  • Provide or request illegal services
  • Upload misleading or fraudulent documents
  • Attempt to circumvent payments or conduct off-platform transactions
  • Share harmful or defamatory content

11. Limitation of Liability

MyConsult.in:

  • Does not guarantee outcomes of consultations
  • Is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete advice
  • Is not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from platform use
  • Provides the platform “as is” without warranty

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraud
  • Misuse
  • Repeated cancellations
  • Violations of terms
  • Harassment or inappropriate behavior

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY — MyConsult.in

1. Cancellation by Client

Clients may cancel a scheduled consultation under the following conditions:

  • Full Refund — If cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled session start time
  • 50% Refund — If cancelled between 24 hours and 4 hours before the session start time
  • No Refund (Reschedule Only) — If cancelled within 4 hours of the session start time

Client may request a one-time reschedule, subject to Expert availability.

No refund is issued once the consultation begins.

2. Cancellation by Expert

If an Expert cancels or does not show up:

  • Client receives a full refund
  • Expert may face penalties or account suspension for repeated no-shows

3. Client No-Show

If a Client does not join the session within the allowed time:

  • The session may be marked as completed
  • No refund will be issued

4. Technical Issues

If a session is disrupted due to platform issues, MyConsult.in will:

  • Reschedule the session or
  • Issue a refund at our discretion

If the issue is on the Client’s or Expert’s end (network/device), no refund is guaranteed.

5. Processing of Refunds

Refunds are:

  • Issued to the original payment method
  • Processed within 7–10 working days

We do not provide any professional services ourselves.

2. Accuracy of Advice

  • The advice provided during consultations is based on the Expert’s personal knowledge, experience & interpretation.
  • MyConsult.in does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or outcomes resulting from the advice.
  • Clients should exercise their own judgment before making decisions.

3. No Medical, Legal, or Financial Liability

Although experts may belong to various fields:

  • MyConsult.in does not provide medical diagnosis or emergency services.
  • Legal or financial advice is not guaranteed to be accurate or compliant.
  • Clients must cross-verify critical decisions independently.

4. Platform Limitations

We are not liable for:

  • Losses due to advice provided by Experts
  • Technical issues, delays, or disruptions
  • Loss of data or unauthorized access
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

5. External Links

We are not responsible for third-party websites linked through the Platform.

6. Liability Limit

To the maximum extent permitted under law, MyConsult.in’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific session.
